DENSETSU

Let’s face it. There’s not a whole lot of good anime & manga magazines out there. So why not try to fix that? Introducing DENSETSU, a new fanzine organized by me, with content by YOU. Yup, you can submit any content you’d like to the zine – art, articles, short stories, opinion pieces, reviews, illustrations, you name it! Anyone is welcome to submit, whether you’re simply a fan of Japanese culture or someone who reports on it as your job. And best of all, the entire project will be supporting charity at the same time.

This fanzine will be released online on a printing site like MagCloud. Currently, all profits will be going to charity, via Child’s Play (although the charity could change). If it takes off and does well, perhaps for a second issue we can plan on supporting the artists and writers who contribute to the fanzine.

So what are you waiting for? Get to submitting! Send an email to densetsuzine@gmail.com with your content! And don’t be afraid to share what you’re submitting as well! Just tag it as #densetsuzine on Tumblr or Twitter! There’s currently no deadline yet, as we want to be sure we’ll have plenty of stuff to fill every page. But within a month a deadline will be announced and then you’d really better get crackin’.
